This waterfall transformed this space into a peaceful retreat, giving these clients a stunning focal point and the soothing sound of water throughout their outdoor living area..

This 15’ pondless waterfall in North Augusta was designed to transform an outdated flower bed into something truly unforgettable. This space sat right next to an already incredible outdoor living area where these clients spend a lot of time with friends and family, but it was stuck in a cycle of constant replanting and upkeep.
These clients originally came to us wanting a koi pond, drawn to the peace and beauty they had seen in friends’ backyards. After walking through the options together, they chose a Crown pondless waterfall package to get the same soothing sound and natural feel, without the maintenance.

This project came with a few unique challenges. The space had very little slope, was fairly tight, and featured beautiful Zoysia grass the homeowner didn’t want disturbed, so the entire project was hand-built without machinery.
We designed the waterfall to work with the space, creating a series of falls that visually and audibly draw attention back toward the outdoor living area before cascading away. We carefully shaped the land with added soil to create a natural-looking elevation and used strategic plantings to reveal glimpses of the waterfall from inside, inviting people to step out and explore.
Lighting was layered throughout the space, both in and around the water to bring the entire area to life during evening gatherings.

The finished 15’ pondless waterfall, standing about 2’ high with three beautiful cascading falls, completely elevated this outdoor space. What was once a high maintenance flower bed is now a peaceful, immersive focal point.
These clients now relax to the sound of water as the stress of the day melts away, and they host gatherings centered around a space they’re proud to share. Friends and family are drawn in, often not wanting to leave.

As they put it:
“This looks like it was always here… this is way more than we thought it could be.”
The landscaping of the park creates 5 hectares of open space, surrounded by a 5 hectares promenade open to the public.
